This is no longer here. Los Cabo’s is the local Mexican fare and I had the fajitas with no issues (corn tortillas)
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
Yes, this is a celiac friendly restaurant. They now have gluten-free tortillas available for burritos and quesadillas and have a prominent sign advertising that addition to their repertoire. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. However, their frier is a shared piece of equipment so fries or sweet potato fries are not gluten-free. Many of their standard items are breaded so read the menu carefully and when in doubt, ask.
Yes
I am not terribly in pressed with this place, and celiacs should be very careful. The tortilla chips are fried in the same fryer as wheat tortillas and everything else, which was only revealed by cross examining the server. The waitress didn't even know what gluten was, but claimed the kitchen staff did. The corn tortillas for my fatitas arrived with a chunk of wheat tortilla on the lid; does not bode well for cross contamination, despite the promises that they would be careful. I was afraid to eat the meal, so just ate the non-fried bits and left. you can probably get some sustenance here, but be cafeful.
No
We were pleasantly suprised that the staff was very informed about gluten free and cross contamination. They even clean an area in the kitchen and change gloves. And on top of all that, the food was excellent!
