Waiter said he would speak with chef about cleaning the grill prior to making a burger. I explained how I have celiac and will get very ill so it’s not worth it to me if it can’t be made without cross contamination. He came back out and said he would make it in a sauté pan. I was thrilled! Then they came out with a bun on top and I said forget about it because obviously the team in the back weren’t communicating. I ate a protein bar for dinner.
Nice view of the beach and live music, but the menu only included two GF options. Club lettuce wrap and a steak.
Service was good - the staff is friendly.
If you are looking for a steak and drinks on the beach while listening to live music, this is the place. If you are looking for a light lunch or to have several options, there are probably better options.
Nice beachfront spot attached to the hotel we stayed at. Menu items are marked gluten free and they can do some sandwiches, and entrees. I got the Cobb salad a few times for lunch and was not sick. Staff noted allergy on the ticket each time. Food was pretty good, nothing great or terrible about it. They also had live music and a busy bar which was nice. They even had propane heaters when it got “chilly” (60 degrees).
Management was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. As a very sensitive Celiac eating out can be a nightmare. The chefs Chris and Brian came out and spoke with me before each meal. They personally prepared my food in separate areas to ensure my safety. One day for lunch Brian went above and beyond and made fresh guacamole and salsa to accompany my delicious fajita quesadillas to be certain there would be no cross contamination. We also had good experiences with Alex. I highly recommend the patient and accommodating staff.
