Review of Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar

Very disappointed in this restaurant. I am a guest at the Fairmont and am enjoying the hotel. I had their breakfast buffet this morning. They had a basket labeled "gluten free chocolate chip muffins." I have celiacs and rarely get to enjoy a treat. I happily went back to my table and had one bite of the treat and realized it had been mislabeled. I called over my waiter who confirmed my fears. They placed a scone (filled with gluten) in the gluten free basket. I called over the manager and told him how upset I was. He apologized profusely but that was it. Only after I left the restaurant, to run to the bathroom because my stomach problems were setting in, did the manager then offer to not charge me for breakfast after my husband complained that they charged us full price on the check. It would be better for the restaurant to not offer any gf items than to have them mislabeled.
