Stopped three times over the years. Something wrong with the meals every time. Stopped last night. Wife had walleye sandwich, no breading, looked like it was cooked in dirty grease in a frying pan, tasted bad, couldn’t even eat the bun. I had a patty melt, burger was ok, French fries looked like they were soaked in old grease and sent out. They were totally limp and dirty look’n, not a good taste at all, very greasy. I grew up on a farm so I’ve ate some bad meals so I’m not that picky. Grew up cleaning my plate cause we we poor! My wife could hardly eat any of it! I usually would never complain. Been there three times over the years and every meal had some thing wrong with it!!!! it was 7 PM and we had an eight we thought it would be just a quick stop to try again! Three strikes and you’re out, we will never stop there again. Was very unhappy with the meal!!!! waitress was good waitress. When she asked for the food was we said it will have to do. Didn’t complain about the food door because we didn’t wanna get another bad meal!!!!!

A wonderful restaurant with delicious homemade-from-scratch foods. They advertise as having gluten free options, but upon ordering, I learned that they don't have any dedicated space for prep or cooking GF. I ordered the GF omelet. After informing the server that I was celiac and asking about the preparation and cooking, she let me know the grill is NOT dedicated GF, and the GF toast is NOT toasted in a dedicated toaster. She said the grill could be cleaned off before making my omelet, so I decided to take a chance and hope for the best. I opted out of the toast and got fruit instead. The server did her best to accommodate. Unfortunately I felt sick with a stomach ache and GI issues shortly after our meal that lasted several hours after :( Either the cook forgot to clean the grill, or the cleaning just wasn't enough to eliminate all gluten, or there was cross contamination somewhere else in the food prep.
