The staff here is awesome, and take pride in what they do. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere, we felt exceptionally safe regarding gluten. A gluten free fry joint is rare and this was a real treat!

A decent Gluten Free restaurant. The chef does understand GF and cross contamination. Everything is GF except for wheat buns and gyros The portions were very ample. I ordered two piece fried fish, fries and coleslaw, PLUS an appetizer of onion rings. I never get to eat onion rings and for me they were the best part of the meal. They were lightly battered and not greasy. We also ordered hush puppies and if you are hoping for the hush puppies you would get in the south made of cornmeal and onion, THESE are NOT the ones to order. The hush puppies are made of some kind of battered pieces of fish and not our favorite. The coleslaw was tasty. My husband ordered fried oysters and said they were good. The order contained 10 nice size oysters for a medium order. The waitress was very helpful, provided good service and knowledgeable about gluten free dining. She tried very hard to make your dining experience pleasant. The food was served on paper plates, plastic cutlery was also provided and styrofoam cups. We felt as if the cost of the meal was a little high.

This was AMAZING!! I had fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, fried mozzarella, and Onion Rings for the first time in 7 years!!! The only thing that is not GF is the Pita and the Malt Vinegar. I am in town on business and am so beyond happy with my experience!!

My teenage son is Coeliac and it was our first trip overseas since diagnosis and finding teenage boy friendly GF meals was a challenge until I found Lazy Joes fish and chips. Fantastic food that my son loved sooo much and lovely service from the staff. Would highly recommend them my son is still raving about how good they were. Worth every penny. Thank you.

The staff is knowledgeable. Nothing with gluten goes in the fryers. The mozzarella sticks were amazing. They can even handle egg allergy, they just leave off the egg wash.

Wow! Super impressed with the food and service of this place. The owner is friendly and goes above and beyond to make your experience a great one. The staff is very customer oriented and overall I had an outstanding meal and will definitely be coming back. I ordered the seafood combo and it was overwhelming (nice size portions) so bring an appetite. Enjoy this place is top notch. It's also gluten free! Big plus for those that suffer.

Fantastic service and food was amazing. I've had GF fried food before, but none beats Lazy Joe's! I came all the way from Utah JUST to try this place. Worth every penny, and the employees were great. I love that it's not fancy. It's down to earth and delicious.

Made the trip to Lazy Joe's twice during our visit to Las Vegas. just 15 minutes or so from our hotel on the strip. We sampled almost everything from the mozzarella sticks, haddock, popcorn shrimp, fried shrimp and chicken. It was all delicious - a dream come true for a celiac who loves fried food.

so I've tried to go twice once on Saturday night about 7 because the website said their open until 7 and I got there and it was closed. it closed at 6pm. Next time was today 1/15/16 @12:45 and again closed for repair. I check Internet first because I was coming from Cheyenne/215. So despite how excited I was to have gluten free fish n chips I will find them else where. Totally unprofessional

Just plain awesome. Thank you, Joe! Not only was the food fresh and fabulous, the guys were great and gave me lots of other ideas for places to go. Can't recommend it enough. 2/2015: I dined here again this year, and it seems to maybe have changed ownership?? They now at least share the space with a Mediterranean food place and the Mediterranean guys working there that night had no idea what a gluten already was and tried to convince me that the wheat couscous was something I could eat. I stuck with what I've gotten the past few times I have eaten there and didn't feel great afterwards. Sad face. Maybe Joe was just on vacation??

it may be set in a las vegas strip mall, but lazy Joe's serves up nevada's best options for gluten-free seafood eats. everything from coconut shrimp to fried bay scallops to fried oysters are made to order in a special gluten-free breading and served with fries, coleslaw and a hush puppy.

This review (3/2015) is in follow up to my original review. While the food was as always gluten free, I have a few gripes. One issue is the fish falls apart before you can even dip it in the tartar sauce. Another is that the food is extremely greasy. I have a stomach ache now... The kind I get from greasy foods. I don't remember if I had this issue before but at that time I ate a lot of greasy foods.. Since then I've been eating healthier and now this has occurred. Bummer.

Wow! This place is amazingly delicious! And Gluten Free! We had the onion rings, scallops, oysters, and clams! Hand cut fries and homemade coleslaw. Clams were our favorite. All the sauces are made in house too! They are very aware of GF, separate fryers and all. If you're looking to be a bit naughty and eat some long awaited GF fried seafood- this is your place! Very tasty- they even have a GF Blooming Onion. Check out their menu. Nice and fresh seafood- not bits n pieces in batter. Super friendly staff too!!
