Told server had gluten allergy (coeliac and highly reactive) and even typed out and translated into German via translating app. Served food and immediately bit into something crunchy— asked staff and only then did the server and manager return to inform me that the burger I had order contained fried onions. Ran around for 10 minutes while I waited to have a reaction, only to tell me that they “didnt think” there was gluten in the food and that they “didn’t recommend people with allergies eat here”. Manager came over and tried to find something else, but flipped hopelessly through the allergen list before informing me that I could have a salad, and then failing to find a salad I could eat. Left immediately. Manager at least comped bill after I informed him that I could end up in hospital due to my reaction and said he could train staff better in future.

I selected a cheeseburger with GF bun, basilikum pesto and fries. The food was good, and the server was very helpful. The fries are made in a dedicated fryer. Recommend for a filling and relaxed lunch.

Very yummy burger! And the fries are in a dedicated fryer. Gf bun was tasty. We will be back for sure.
