Review of Le Foubrac

Disaster experience! The menu has GF items marked, including burger buns. I asked about the contents of the veggie burgers. Server went to check and came back saying the kitchen didn’t know bc they come from a package and threw out the package. Said however the rest of the burger menu is confirmed GF. I ordered the salmon burger after confirming that it was literally just a piece of salmon (not breaded, marinated etc) and requested to tell kitchen strict GF for Celiac. Ordered side salad marked and confirmed with server to be GF. She read back my order as Cesar salad which is not marked GF and has croutons. When my food arrived I asked about the sauce on the salmon as it had what looked/smelled like soy. She checked with the kitchen and came back saying they don’t know the ingredients in it because they didn’t have the package for the salmon burger either. (So definitely NOT confirmed GF as she had told me earlier.) I ended up just eating the salad without dressing, and found after a few bites that there was an dried herb blend so I stopped out of an abundance of caution. Will see if I get sick. I see others have had great experiences here so hopefully this was just an off night or new and inexperienced staff. FYI for vegetarians - the fries are cooked in beef fat.
