Restaurant Le Hatley

We had lunch in the tavern and dinner in the fine dining restaurant. Menu is not marked, but both servers were extremely knowledgeable about my options and concerns for avoiding cross-contamination. House made dinner rolls were delicious! Substitutions were easily made without even asking. I overheard other tables being asked if they had any allergies or dietary concerns when ordering. Dinner service was a testament to how fine dining should be done!

We had the table d’hote as the other set menus seemed problematic.

I’m not sure our waiter had a great grasp on GF selections and the menu did not mark anything as GF. It was more select something and have the waiter ask the kitchen.

That said the serving staff seemed very knowledgeable when they brought the plates out and they even had a really great GF bread for me.

They also prepared a nice pavlova dessert that wasn’t on the menu.

Overall we enjoyed our meals and the service was very good.
