Excellent fresh food
I tested gluten free bread using Nima sensor and it said “contains gluten” not traces of gluten—just said contains gluten. I tested center of bread so it wasn’t cross contamination. This was in Nov 2017. I hope the company with take this seriously and try to put some systems in place to make their gluten free food actually safe for people on a medically prescribed gluten free diet.
You can buy a fresh loaf of gf bread here which is rare Super seed loaf is absolutely delicious You can also order a sandwich on gf bread They said they have gf breads all the time-they may make limited batches so call ahead Not sure that it is celiac friendly although I do not get sick when I eat here
The food was very tasty and original but I thought the prices on some items were outrageous. I ordered a side of GF bread and was charged $4.25 for a small slice of cold bread, not even warmed and no condiments to go with it. When a full loaf of GF bread is less than $10, the price for a slice is ridiculous. Tea was pricey for a small pot as well.
For a bread-focused restaurant, this place is surprisingly gluten free friendly. Their in-house gf bread is delicious and other menu options are marked on the menu. The staff was knowledgeable and even brought out fresh (unontaminated) jars of spreads to our table!
Took my four year old for lunch. Had GF 6 veggie quiche. They offer open face sandwiches on GF crackers. Lots of organic, vegan options. Quinoa in lots of things. Food was excellent. Not huge portions but I prefer it that way. 30 mins later we realized that we lost the mood ring the kid had bought at the toy store next door. Went back and waiter had saved it for us! Great service. Cross contamination could be a big problem here as they make their own breads. As someone who is only gluten sensitive, I was ok with it.
