We had a great lunch here. We split a savory and a dessert crepe. Service and selection was very good.
My food was good but it was a mixed bag for my group. I had a reaction unfortunately. They were at least nice enough to tell me we they delivered my food that the plate they were handing me was made with the allergy in mind
We had a great meal here and the staff was very good about helping us select gluten-free options. We shared a crepe and a fondue trio for one, but honestly, the fondue could’ve fed both of us easily.
In place of bread with the cheese course, they provided a gluten-free crepe cut into bites. The beef course came with several gluten-free sauces/aolis, baked potato, and a salad. The fondue trio finished with fruits, marshmallows, and a chocolate fondue.
Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly.
Unfortunately, I had a violent celiac reaction after sharing two orders (meal and dessert) crepes with my partner. I was sick all night with the classic celiac reaction. I specified that I have an allergy to gluten and the server confirmed that he understood that. I can only assume that there was cross-contamination in the kitchen at Restaurant Le Petit Château.
I went here so I could eat crepes. Food was good, I had a ham and cheese crepe, and then a dessert one with maple butter and vanilla ice cream. There is an up charge for gluten free but that’s normal. Food was good. My gluten eating family liked their food as well. I was happy for the chance to eat crepes
We had cheese fondue with apple slices. Really yummy. Kinda a bummer you need to play 7$ for the Apple slices. We also had a variety of slices meat for the fondue and the waitress wasn’t sure if it would be ok for me so she brought out the packaging for me to read to decide if I was ok with it. I really appreciate the effort this establishment made.
Celiac friendly and delicious! The server was aware and explained how they clean the area prior to preparing your food, etc. Would return!
They server was wonderful but when we ordered we used our gluten tester and it came back positive. They kindly remade the crepe and said they made sure the washed everything. It came back positive again. We had to leave and go somewhere else for my daughter. The server was very kind and said he would report it to the manager but we weren’t able to eat there due to my daughter having Celiac and is very sensitive.
The crepes were not good, and thought they said my crepe was gluten free, I became sick after eating it and had to return to the hotel. Though I recovered quicker than when I normally eat gluten, in about an hour. Could have just been bad ingredients.
They were great. If the server wasn't sure of ingredients he brought out the packaging for me to see so that I would be comfortable and safe. Don't forget to get a gf dessert crepe, too!
Dined here 2 nights. Both times had GF cider that was delicious. Both nights I had the same GF crepe, they have a lot of options, half are breakfast ones. Unfortunately the cheese fondue is not GF. The chocolate fondue is, and was delicious. The crepe with maple butter was to die for. We added raspberries to it as well, so worth trying.
