Great food. We stopped for late afternoon snack. The hostess was not the friendliest but waitstaff was good. Kids had truffle popcorn and kids meal steak and burger. I had duck wings which were great with cocktails.

This was the second time I’ve eaten here (no issues the first time, several years ago). Our server was great and modified the steak (different sauce, vegetables instead of fries), but somehow, I got glutened.

We ate a lunch after talking to two hotel staff who convinced us their kitchen is well versed in GF. The maitre’d knew I could not eat gluten before I told her! But it fell apart with our waiter. I explained my allergy to gluten and asked for suggestions for a GF meal. It was almost comical how he suggested specialties and when I ordered said specialty, then told me it contained gluten which they could not modify. This repeated until I asked about the salmon. He said I could eat that. So my salmon plate arrives with a sauce and I asked if it was GF. Turns out it contained gluten and I received my meal after my husband had finished his. We were given a free GF desert for the pain. In two months traveling non-stop, this was our most expensive lunch and the worst gluten experience we’ve encountered.

Great service (waiter understood cross contamination and how each menu item could be adapted for gluten free). Most of the menu could be adapted and the food was fantastic. Great view as well!

Everything can be adapted. They really know about their food, and about gluten. I had oysters and steak with red wine sauce. Delicious! And crème brulée for dessert! Amazing spot, beautiful location and good service! It’s a little Pricy tho but it’s worth it!

We had two dinners here. Several options. Dedicated fryer. Great view by the windows and prices to match. :- GF bread which was better than usual (several places in QC used Kinnickinnick which is a brand we see, but not the individually packed dinner rolls, those are good!)

Staff very knowledgeable about Celiac. I was brought gf bread and advised what menu items would be safe. Had a wonderful meal and Annie our server was fantastic. Went over and above and knew to keep other bread separate from table area. Had lunch here as well- very good. Was accommodating for hamburger. Thanks/Merci

Although is a bit pricey, it is completely worthy!! I asked the servers if they had gluten free options (they are not marked in the menu), and they told me that with the exception of two menu items (one is the fish and chips) they could make everything gluten free. At the end I ordered grilled fish and chips, and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the servers were incredibly nice and acomodating.

Plusieurs options sans gluten disponibles, dont l'excellente salade de homard, les tartares, carré d'agneau, etc. Une Glutenberg en fût spécialement brassée pour le Château Frontenac! Personnel au fait des enjeux de la contamination croisée...
