Terrible. The waitress had no idea what gluten was. I explained I had an allergy and she told me everything was gluten free. The bread.. the battered fish.. I think not.
The manager then handed me a menu which he said was a gluten free menu but was in fact an ‘allergen’ menu.. I use the term loosely because it was clearly nonsense. As I politely asked if theyuse the same fryer for the wheat batter and ‘gluten free’ fries he said yes and volunteered that it’s not his problem.
By that point I knew everything I needed to know. Not just bad service, but a dangerous lack of knowledge on what allergy means. They couldn’t give two fiddles.

The serving staff was gracious and able to check with the chef for gluten free options. I’m not sure they truly understood what gluten is, but they were very helpful. The risotto (Parmesan and pepper) was delicious and gluten free. My daughter had the burrata salad (burrata, tomato, olive oil and roe) which is also completely gluten free.

Not 100% convinced the waitress understood me when I was explaining celiac disease but she did point to a section and say “sans gluten”. So if she was right, it was very good!
