Fabulous little bakery in Obernai with three tables outside for dining. Beautiful range of GF baking and lunch food. They were very gracious about our poor French. Will return again if we ever come through again.

Amazing selection of gluten free baked goods. Savory and sweet. Also amazing for vegetarians and vegans.

The pastry is a bit chewy, but haven’t we all been there? We would love to go back and sample more of the food. It all looked extremely tasty.

So many options and all tasten absolutely delicious! I can recommend the pizza's and tartelette limon. Just wishing we would have a bakery like this in The Netherlands.

Great experience, cute bakery A lot of choice from bread to pastries and sandwiches. The pastries are not to sweet and there are a lot of vegeterian options

Great experience! Stopped here twice on our trip for pastries. Also has great gf options for lunch (salad, ham or smoked salmon sandwiches , “pizza”, and quiches)! I had a (smoked) salmon sandwich. Bread was phenomenal.

Not just good gluten free options, it is all gluten free and AMAZING. Wonderful breads, pastries,.cakes, salads, mini pizzas, soups, biscuits, crackers... We know... We had lunch for 4 (between 2) and took home half of the shop! But as the non GF spouse, I wasn't even complaining... So very delicious - I think that is a good testimonial considering I am privileged to have the choice.to eat the gluten versions elsewhere!!! Worth a detour. Seriously!!!

Cute and small bakery / coffee shop. All gluten free. Very good sandwiches, pizzas, bread and cakes. They have 3-4 small tables so book if you plan to seat.

Vandaag erg lekker geluncht bij L’Eden. Onze oudste dochter (12 jaar) heeft glutenallergie en dan is t altijd fijn als er tijdens de vakantie een glutenvrije lunch of diner genuttigd kan worden. Deze lunchroom/boulangerie is 100% glutenvrij en erg gastvrij. We hebben 4 lekkere sandwiches op en voor de avond nog 4 heerlijke gebakjes meegenomen.

The desserts were really good (chocolate eclair and fruit tart were the best we tried). Kids like the chocolate chip muffins and the pretzels. Adults liked the quiches (even those who could eat gluten) and they reheated well the next day.

Out of this world! I didn’t ever think I would have an eclair again in my life but here I am with them in my hand.

The stuff was so nice!! And they had everything gluten free and french you could ever imagine. I bought a delicious eclair and a very tasty macaron. Also a very nice baguette. They could also communicate in English but a hint: glutenfree means "sans gluten" in French.

This was a dream come true to find on a school trip to France. When we visited the small town of Obernai, we found L’Eden, which is a dedicated gluten free bakery in the heart of the tiny city. There is another place called L’eden in Strasbourg, which is probably the same management, and I unfortunately did not get to patronize it, but I am so glad I was able to visit this one. They had many of the typical alsacien foods of the region gluten free, as well as many typical Paris treats that I felt safe (obviously) eating. In one afternoon I enjoyed tarte flambée, two lardon sandwiches, an eclair, a macaron, a tarte aux fruits (blueberry), two muffins, a cookie and half a loaf of focaccia bread. It was so good. I also found many vegan goodies for my vegan friend, who greatly appreciated it as well. They had countless others than I described as well. This place is a must go if you visit the Alsace region!!! I would go back just for it.
