Update 7/2/23: breakfast at Brick’s is now family style where they bring out platters instead of buffet. Upon seating they asked for our allergies - one peanut and one gluten free. Everything was peanut free so my sim was safe. For me they brought out a separate platter with gluten free waffles and toast. They informed me the hash browns were made in a dedicated fryer and were safe. Much better than the buffet they had which I noted below. We did not eat dinner there this time.

In the park all of their restaurants have a certistar website that tells you allergy items and also lists items that can be made gluten free with modifications. The pizza place (Brickolini’s) in the park cooks the pizza on a separate oven in a pan and was very good, and Everyday Taco offers tacos on corn tortillas which were great.

—- Original review from 2022 below —- Ordered lunch at the Skyline Bar. The menu did not list which items were gluten free, but the hostess was very knowledgeable about the menu and had experience with celiac. I had a burger on a gluten free bun and they substituted fries with a salad since the fries run the risk of cross contamination. I was very happy with this as I’m used to often having to guess and pray, especially when out with the family.

For dinner we went to Bricks Family Restaurant. The menu didn’t have a lot listed aside from gluten free penne and I spoke to the hostess who said that was the safest option with no cross contamination. I had it with vegetables but shrimp or grilled chicken are other options. It was standard GF penne, but the vegetables were very good and it was an OK meal. They also had a GF flourless chocolate tart with blueberries and iced cream. It was closer to a chocolate mousse cake, but was still the best thing I ate on the trip and would recommend. It can also be ordered from the Skyline Bar.

We had breakfast again at Bricks. Apparently they do have gluten free rolls and breads available by request, but when it’s busy good luck finding someone. Had safe items such as yogurt with fruit, eggs, bacon, hash browns, and breakfast sausage. It’s a fair amount all things considered. Again nothing was labeled GF and we never saw any hosts.

Finished at Smokey’s which was reviewed before succinctly by Phyllis so nothing to add there but the same binder provided details.

Most disappointing thing was the apple fries. In Florida and California they use a gluten free batter, but NY changed the batter to pancake batter which stinks. They were my favorite thing about LegoLand FL and something I complained about to guest services when here.
