I just got a tuna and salmon roll but they have GF markings on the menu (pad thai, etc) and they gave me GF soy sauce which is always exciting!! I don’t know how much they know about cross contamination but I felt safe eating the basic sushi and didn’t have a reaction.
I had a positive experience at Lemongrass last night for dinner. I called ahead and was told that any of their Street Wok Noodles, Rice Bowls, and one of their curries could be made GF. They also said that they had some sushi options and offer GF soy sauce. Seems like it was mostly nigiri options as most special rolls contained either tempura or imitation crab.
On the menu they note items that are gluten free as well as what can be requested gluten free. I ordered pad Thai as it said it was already GF and seemed like the lowest risk. I informed my server of my “allergy” and asked that it be cooked in a clean pan. Overall I did not have a reaction and felt well. I
Will note that I am not highly sensitive, but do have reactions.
