Review of Levis Hot Dogs

Great hot dogs BUT 5 out of 5 times they were "out" of the gluten free buns. At least they were honest and didn't give us a regular roll. As long as you don't 100% expect to be able to eat a GF *sandwich* here you may be pleasantly surprised.

Thank goodness they have a decent selection of GF stuff (chili, sauerkraut, onions, chutneys and relishes, broccoli rabe) in addition to many kinds of sausages so you can eat a full plate and leave satisfied!

I honestly don't recall if they have a dedicated fryer for their so-called GF fries. There are battered (gluten) onion rings on the menu so I'd be sure to ask about separate fryers before believing the GF label on the fries.

I don't know if we are just unlucky or if they don't make any effort at all to stock the GF buns, but as I said at least there are lots of GF ingredients so you can make a fun combo of stuff and enjoy their delicious meats!

One last note, the parking lot is annoying to access if you are heading north on Old York Road (611). You have to take the next left after you see Levis, and then backtrack by meandering down an alley behind some businesses.

Despite all the negatives... their hot dogs and sausages are to die for!
