Ok… so this place had a super delicious GF + Vegan chocolate ice cream BUT the scoop was minuscule!! So so tiny for the price. Also tried the GF + vegan ice cream sandwich. Not bad but probably wouldn’t get again for the price.

We went to Lick based on the conversation I had on the phone with a team member. Not only was she helpful regarding which flavors were GF, she also assured me they would use a new ice cream scoop AND a new container of untouched ice cream from their inventory. When we got there, Katie was EXCEPTIONAL in being of help to us. She also insisted I go through the ingredient list for each flavor I was considering. I ended up with a cup of vanilla and salted caramel. The caramel was definitely creamier and tastier, in my opinion, but both were great. No issues afterward (sensitive celiac) and highly recommended for both customer service and quality of ice cream.
The ice cream is labeled with which allergens they contain and the staff informed me they use a separate gluten free scoop but they do not prevent against cross contamination in the containers themselves. They were willing to open a new container for me but multiple staff came out and appeared confused why they were opening a new container when they have the gluten free scoop. Overall they were willing and I got the ice cream and it was tasty. I did not get sick.
Anything with flour/egg/dairy is labeled. Delicious homemade ice cream. Crazy flavors. I love the coconut vegan ones especially. There’s even a GF vegan ice cream sandwich!
We were beyond thrilled with this ice cream. The employees were more than happy to get a new tub of ice cream, a new spoon from the back, wash hands before and after showed us where each was labeled GF! Our son was thrilled and we will be back!
Phenomenal DF/GF options, especially the Chocolate, Coconut and Peanut Butter Ice Cream! 12% milk fat says it all and is way better consistency than the coconut stuff you can buy at the grocery store. Had to take one star off for the CC issues since I think they could do a little better to ensure the GF options aren't CC by the non-GF flavors. Plus it wouldn't hurt to have a dedicated scoop for GF options vs non instead of using the same scoop and "rinsing" between servings. Other than that the ice cream is to die for!!
Uh, YUM. Very very yummy GF and dairy free ice cream. I tried three of the dairy free flavors, and my husband had a dairy flavor, and they were all good. Going back very soon.
Great choices, unusual flavors, staff knowledgeable, sample the "interesting" flavors, great dessert option after dinner in the area!

Delicious and the staff was knowledgeable! They wash the ice cream scoop between each flavor to avoid any cross contamination.
Most ice cream flavors are gf, most are organic and made with local ingredients. They have many dairy-free options made from coconut milk. So delicate and flavorful!
