Review of Lidia's Kansas City

Food was good but server seemed to have limited knowledge about gluten containing foods. Went to weekend brunch which is part buffet and part plated. No gluten free bread or crackers for me. Server said she would check but never brought any or said they were out. She would not tell me what was GF on the buffet portion and told me to just avoid the croutons. I had to ask another server if the soup was GF and he went and asked. It was, by the way. I ordered the osso busco which was marked as GF on menu, later someone from the kitchen said there was a mistake and the dish was not made GF. I had to order something different. At least they told me before I ate it. Overall: food good, my server just didn't want to be bothered by GF customer.
