98+% gluten-free and coeliac-safe menu crafted by artisan chefs with weekly changing specials

On safety—There are only two items on our menu that are not coeliac-safe, and these items are quarantined during storage and preparation to avoid any possibility of contamination. As we cook from scratch, we know every ingredient and can often amend dishes to accommodate virtually any dietary requirement.

I was wanting a "Melbourne" experience, and it delivered. The atmosphere is moody and intimate, the conversation lively, the wine tasting was great fun, and the rhubarb crumble was to to-die-for (and I do not say that lightly!). Many vegiac options to choose from and I believe they truly understand dietary restrictions from having lived them.

Sigrid was very helpful with catering to our needs, my wife is coeliac, Low FODMAP, GF, DF, no onion and no garlic. We both had the salmon, my wife a varied chef’s salad and I the Norwegian. Both very tasty. The entree prawns were amazing, and the Rhubarb and coconut pudding was divine. The wines were fab!

So good! Chef/owner is coeliac so totally understands the requirements. Food has always been so delicious, my non-celiav husband e jots this place as much as I do. Service is real friendly and welcoming, the venues small and intimate, changing artwork on the walls keeps it interesting. Wheelchair accessible gives a big tick too.

First up a confession - I'm the Owner and Chef, but I'm also gluten-free myself, so I completely understand both gf and coeliac (and pretty much any dietary requirement). The majority of our food menu is gluten free, as are all our wines, cocktails and ciders.(we've not found a good gf beer yet). We're super careful about cross-contamination and we have really delicious food (and lots of it like gourmet tartlets, over 20 salami, artisan cheeses, flaming crepes and much more). We're housed in the 160yo bluestone cellars in the old Victoria Brewery, now known as Tribeca, handy to trams, trains and busses. We're a cozy little luxe bar with cool tunes and a relaxed vibe. So come say Hi!
