Gluten Intolerant

I have been eating here since they opened and they have never had a dedicated fryer. Every server we have had, (including Dylan multiple times) have always let us know that any fried food comes from a shared fryer so even though the tots and fry’s themselves are gluten free they do share a fryer with glutinous items. Staff has always gone above and beyond to double check sauces and items were gluten free before ordering.

Symptomatic Celiac

Overall Rating

Review

Let me preface this with I’m really angry- like the most angry I’ve been in a long time.

I’ve eaten at this place and I shared with you all that it was safe and it’s absolutely not! Especially if you have a server named Dylan who assured me (over and over) that this place was absolutely 100% safe. He even went on and on about his partner who is celiac and especially because she is celiac this place must be safe for me too. I had probably five other servers tell me that this place was celiac, gluten free safe, including anything that was in the fryer.

Not only is anything in the fryer not safe but nothing on their menu that says gluten-free is safe according to the server who helped me tonight (she mentioned that their menu needs to be updated… wtf) someone was finally honest apparently and there are things on the menu like house made chips that are not safe according to my server but it lists it as gluten-free on the menu. The manager walked by me several times seeing how upset I was and said nothing to me.

I couldn’t hold back the tears, not of sadness but frustration and anger. Iykyk - 🤯I don’t know how else to say it when you go out to eat and you’re expecting your food to be safe and it’s not, and you’ve been told that it was, but it never was Just might piss you off and it very much did me tonight. I’m venting to you guys because I came on here blasting how amazing this place is and I will never go back again! Especially after they charge me for my meal, knowing what I’ve been through, mislead, and knowing how upset I was tears streaming down my face… What kind of establishment tells you that your food is safe for your allergy finds out that you’ve been ordering it that way all along and then charges you full price. I’m livid.

If for no other reason, do not supportive an establishment that treats people this way .

The picture is of my burger that I could only eat half of because I was just sick.

Imagine if it was my son who is severely allergic to nuts and has an anaphylactic reaction. Imagine if it was perfectly fine to say yes this is safe, but in reality it wasn’t. He could die. And I slowly have been.

I hope I save someone from going here and I’m so sorry if I told you to go here and you got sick❣

No longer has a separate/ safe fryer. Even the options marked gf on the menu are not all celiac safe. Couldn't do the nachos or fries. Pretty much limited to salads or burgers. They do have gf buns.
