Review of Lilly's Dim Sum

Received delivery from them from Chef Shuttle. Ordered from the celiac menu, added that I needed it to be gluten free in the message box as an additional measure. The salad was covered in their fried wonton (not gf) upon delivery. The delivery guy at Chef Shuttle was very sweet and said he would try to get a new one for me. I received a call a little while later from the owner of Lilly's. She suggested I pull the wonton off of the salad with my hands, and eat it so the meal didn't go to waste. I was really too appalled to say much. When I mentioned cross contamination as a reason I could not do that, she told me that if I was THAT sensitive, I should have added that in addition to the gluten free request I made. Her reaction to a food allergy they purport to cater to was so careless I was too shocked to even ask for my money back. I definitely didn't want another salad from them. I just gave the meal to a coworker. I had already wasted my lunch hour, so there was no point in pursuing it. I loved eating at Lilly's and B-side. My boyfriend and I have never had such problems before with them. I don't know what changed with their attitude toward allergies.
