Best food in Asheville. We stayed for four days and nights and ate at 11 different restaurants. Limones was the best and best dinner. Chestnut was the best lunch. The flavors that came out of the kitchen were out of this world. The chile rellano appetizer was so good. I tasted the first bite and knew that it was going to be a great meal. I got the Spanish style pork chop and the chef made a special order for dana because they had no more Oaxaca pepper pancakes. So the chef surprised us with a shrimp tostada dish over this amazing vegetable medley. The flourless chocolate torte was the best I've had and I've had a lot. $100 meal for two of us but well well worth it.

Food was excellent. I ordered something and our waiter came to us saying that they just ran out, but the chef will make me something special. I told him to go for it, and I was amazed at his creation. It should be on the menu! I had no idea what he was going to make, and I was very happy with the outcome. Great service, and no cross contamination :)
They have GF meals marked with a circle. My server was knowledgeable about celiac and informed me that the chips are fried in a shared fryer. The scallops were delicious!
They have a GF menu, but do not have a dedicated fryer, so that menu is NOT accurate.
