Had a really fantastic meal at Ling and Louie’s at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. I have Celiac Disease and they had lots of options and were very knowledgeable when asked about concerns. Might be some of the best airport food I’ve ever had. Would definitely go there again with no worries
Expensive as is all airport food but delicious and staff was knowledgeable
I didn’t get sick, but that is about all I can recommend for this place. I think my $22 would have been better spent with airport hard boiled eggs and yogurt. I got the miso and greens salad with chicken to-go and let them know I have celiac. The salad had no dressing and the chicken was dry and tough, cooked many hours ago. Not impressed compared to all the other reviews I read :(
Amazing experience here! So many gf options clearly marked on their menu. Had the chicken fried rice and it was delicious! This isn’t something I get to eat often so it was a fun treat to have it here. Had no symptoms or discomfort from the meal. They even had GF soy sauce on the table. Worth the effort to come from a different terminal on your layover!
I was so excited to see all the great reviews for this place so gave it a try while here for a layover during the Thanksgiving holiday. The menu was clearly marked and the server said that they are careful for allergies. There were many options to choose from and the server said this is the best place for gluten free. I had the gluten free chicken fried rice and it was delicious. Our food arrived pretty quickly and the server was so nice. I felt very safe eating here and had no reaction. I am celiac so very careful to avoid cross contamination. So happy to find somewhere to eat safely at an airport. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back next time I am here.
Selection of gluten free was great, both for an airport restaurant and an Asian restaurant. Food was average to above average. They were certainly knowledgeable about gluten though and I felt safe eating there before my flight.
Ordered gf lo mein to go. Asked the gal who took my order to write gf on it 3x. Food came out and I looked at the receipt - GF not written anywhere. Took it to the kitchen - whoops! They checked - not gf. They apologized, but I could have boarded my flight with this food. So upset.
The GF crispy fried Orange Peel Chicken was AMAZING! I've never had gluten-free food taste so close to authentic Chinese food before. We came here twice to get it. I know it's supposed to be Asian Fusion, but it tastes very close to the Chinese chicken you'd get in the food court or at a take-out Chinese restaurant. Absolutely incredible!
We also tried all of their fried rice dishes that were marked GF. The hangover rice with pineapple is great, but if we had to pick ... Orange Peel Chicken was the best.
Mostly everything here is gluten free. It's clearly marked on the menu, and there is no shortage of options. Very very pleased.
Delicious Asian fried chicken with rice flour in a dedicated fryer! Everything was really good. The portions were not particularly cheap but they were large and brought a huge amount of joy. Gluten free fried chicken is always a treat, and finding it in an airport just made my trip.
I got the general Ling’s chicken, it was pretty good, I wouldn’t call it a “true” general tso’s but it was good and crispy. The fried rice had piles of carrots and scallions on it and was very sweet. I also felt as though there wasn’t much chicken for the price. I feel as though there should have been more for over $20. The portion in general wasn’t much, not enough to eat then take with you. Overall it’s a good gluten free option but definitely could be better, especially considering the price.
Most of the menu can be made gluten free and they clean items before prepping the gf food. There is regular soy sauce at the table, but they brought me gf soy sauce. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you order something crispy (orange chicken), it will be grilled instead. I tried the orange chicken and the pineapple fried rice. They're both good, a little pricey for the portions, but typical for airport food.
I enjoyed our meal here, it was tasty and a different take on some Chinese dishes I’ve had many times in other restaurants. The Kung Pao beef was especially delicious. Most of their menu is either gluten free or can be made gluten free and items are clearly marked. No signs of cross contamination after eating there. Service and atmosphere were great overall, no complaints.
Decided to order from them for New Year's Eve after reading other reviews. Called and asked about both Gluten free AND Dairy free food. I was told that just about everything on the menu was gluten free and if not could be modified. I decided on an order of Chicken and Cashew Stir fry, Kung Pao Beef and Lucky LoMein that they had to change the noodles. I didn't watch them cook it, so I can't say if they used separate facilities or if there was any cross contamination. I can say that I ate some of each order and didn't have any reactions.
The food was good, cooked quickly - and ready when I got there to pick up takeout. Staff was friendly also. Price was maybe a little high, but worth it knowing that I could enjoy with others and not have to worry. I would definitely go back.
I was impressed by their GF Menu and I to have such a wide variety of GF fried options was amazing! I started off with the deep fried Calamari was a delicious. Orange Peel Chick en and Mongolian Beef was delicious! The menu is extensive with the majority of the items being GF and clearly marked on the menu. The staff was knowledgeable and after taking my order read it back to me, then showed me her order tablet showing Gluten Allergy was clearly noted on all items, I told her that I appreciated her level of detail and how reassuring it is. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in AZ.
