I was excited to see gluten free, chicken tenders on someone’s menu. I was more excited when they tasted fabulous, like real fired food. I didn’t tell my family that they were gluten-free until afterwards. They had no clue. I do not expect a fast food restaurant to have anything GF much less fried anything. I’m from Texas and it’s just not an option. The best we have is some mom-and-pop restaurants, have a small residential countertop fryer and they will turn it on if you order french fries but the grease is never hot enough to make them worth your while. While the staff was knowledgeable and immediately could list what was gluten free. I only have a sensitivity. I am NOT celiac, but I didn’t have any problems. Most of the time I get inflammation after eating fried food but I didn’t even have that and I had french fries and an order of chicken tenders. I would love for them to open up a Restaurant in Texas!! I will definitely eat there again the next time I’m in Kansas or Missouri !
