Gluten Intolerant

Went to their new location a few months ago. They do have gluten free items on the menu which is nice but when I asked the waitress about an item on the menu she didn’t know what gluten was. I asked her to check with the kitchen and she came back and said it was fine. I ended up getting sick. Wish I would have stuck to the safer labeled choices.

Works for safe meal in a pinch. Food was good and server was able to communicate and address my celiac needs and concerns. However- there are some struggles. It appears to be a major staff shortage and they try to handle a large volume of door dash /uber eats and address people in the restaurant. They can not do both . People left with out service and another family approached us looking for the server after they had an appetizer and drinks wanting to pay. At one point we did see our server leave the building and drive off. The whole situation seemed surreal , as more delivery food people came in waiting alongside people in the restaurant and not enough staff support. I did not eat one dish ordered because there was so much chaos it was best to leave it. ( not confirmed gf soy sauce) I ended up eating : Avocado sushi roll with gf soy sauce, chicken satay no sauce, yellow curry with shrimp. Felt good no side affects. * do not have tofu here as is breaded and fried*

The menu was not labeled gluten-free - you have to ask the server. I ordered the red curry with tofu and miso soup as a starter. I was assured by the waitress all items I ordered were GF and that the chef had been notified I have celiac disease. The food was good but pricey. I didn't get glutened but I also didn't feel terrific after the meal...I didn't ask if the tofu was fried separately from gluten items, so that could be an issue.

Expensive! Should be $$$ not $$. They're more expensive than red lobster. But almost half the menu is gluten free. In fact, it's only the one soy sauce they use that isn't. It's all great if you love sushi.

It was wonderful! Great service, fantastic menu, fantastic food. The location changed, they are by the boardwalk bar, just a few blocks away from their old locating.
