Nearly every menu item had GF alternatives. The gluten free banana bread and the flatbreads were fantastic. Highly recommended.
Not to be confused with the little beet, which is all gluten free with great bowls. The staff at little beet table was unsure about allergens, the service was spotty, and food mediocre.
If you haven’t heard of Little Beet, this chain caters to healthy dining. Their stores would be considered “fast food,” which sets Little Beet Table apart as it’s a restaurant.
I happened upon this place by accident while searching for dinner. If you’re used to the Little Beet stores be wary that the pricing here is very different and for good reason. The food is a major step above what you’d get at their other shops, with flavors that rival some of the other Park Ave restaurants.
Edit: I have gone back twice since and the menu has unfortunately changed. There are now fewer gluten free items offered and the establishment no longer seems celiac safe as I have gotten glutened both times. While I truly enjoyed the food here, I cannot recommend this restaurant if you have celiac or are especially sensitive to gluten.
Would not recommend eating here. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, since they were dedicated gluten free. We were unpleasantly surprised to learn they are no longer dedicated. Because of that, I asked for them to serve my food in takeaway containers because I'm crazy sensitive to gluten. They then informed me that the take aways might contain gluten, so I asked them to cover it with aluminum foil. They reluctantly did. At the end of the meal the manager came over and politely informed us that it did not fit their image to put aluminum foil on takeaways and serve it and that they would not be able to do that in the future. On top of that, even with all the precautions, I'm having a gluten reaction. Sadly, would NOT RECOMMEND.
Love this place! I sat at the bar and the staff was nice. Good atmosphere. Felt safe ordering off the menu as all items were labeled GF (i have celiac) and DF (don’t do diary). I asked her to flag my food for my restrictions as well. Portion size is smaller than normal, but I felt full after eating the flavorful meal. I recommend!
Not dedicated GF, but the servers were really knowledgeable and there were many GF options. I’ve been here multiple times and have never gotten sick. The food is also excellent and a good place to go to with non-GF friends and family. I would definitely go again and would definitely recommend.
I am a server/bartender at Little Beet Table with Celiac Disease. The reason I started working there is because they can accommodate me.
We can accommodate a wide variety of allergies, including gluten. We don’t have grilled sandwiches on our menu, so I’m not sure what that review is about. We don’t grill sandwiches, and everything on our menu is able to be gluten free, with the necessary modifications.
I’m terms of the kitchen/fryer, we do not have a fryer, as we do not have fried food so it is not applicable to our kitchen. We have introduced gluten items back to our menu, so there is gluten in the kitchen, but the kitchen and wait staff is expected and very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions.
I have had almost everything on our menu, never gotten sick. Not to mention, the chefs accommodate me with family meal, which is the meal staff receives sometimes before shift.
Come visit me and say hi! The food is great and just introduced some new mid-winter cocktails as well!
Excellent! Never had an issue with cross contamination. The kitchen and our server take gluten free and cc protocols very seriously. Server lets the kitchen know that we have a child who is celiac. The GF foods we’ve ordered are the grass fed beef burger (GF bun), fluke ceviche, roasted shrimp salad, brownie sundae and chocolate chip cookies…all incredibly delicious! We are keeping this restaurant on our regular rotation.
Completely gluten free menu (watch out for the "gluten removed" beers). Excellent food, including the appetizers (peppers, guacamole), entrees (carnitas tacos), and desserts (chocolate cake, chocolate mousse). The LBT margarita is the freshest margarita I have ever tasted - and it has a solid kick with jalapeno and ancho chili salt. Like other reviews have stated, the portion sizes are slightly smaller than normal, but the quality of food more than makes up for it. I will revisit the next time I visit NYC.
It’s marvelous to be able to eat at a dedicated gluten free facility! My husband and I were here for brunch. He had a mimosa and the eggs Florentine with bacon, I had shakshuka and cucumber lemonade with a side of roast sweet potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was quick and excellent. We liked the relaxed atmosphere.
If you’re celiac (or even if you’re not), you will love The Little Beet Table. A safe space for celiacs without any compromise of flavor. We loved everything but the broccoli pizzeta, the acorn squash and the charred Brussels sprouts were some highlights. The spices really brought out the flavors too.
Very healthy and delicious options. The execution and flavor profile of each dish is outstanding. They are very accommodating to any type of allergy- looking forward to returning soon.
Absolutely love this place, the food is delicious and modern with interesting ingredient combinations. Dinner and brunch are both so good! I wish they changed their menu from time to time since we don’t have many dining options we ate our way through the menu pretty quickly, but everything they offer is delicious.
