One of my favorite spots in the city. Great brunch and dinner. Recently made a change to menu and no longer 100% gluten free.

EDIT: I’m SO disappointed they ADDED GLUTEN to their menu!!! This place used to be a gem, but now it’s just crap. NOT celiac safe.

Old review: This place truly is a gem! Celiac safe, delicious healthy food, and such an adorable and comfortable restaurant! Love this place and recommend!

Great for brunch. The pancakes are generous and delicious. Unfortunately they recently added some items with gluten to the menu so the facility is no longer dedicated gluten free.

The food was excellent but you need to be vigilant about what you order to drink. All food here is gluten free but the drinks and cocktails are not gluten free. The server was not knowledgeable about the alcohol on their menu and did he not understand the difference between gluten-free beer and gluten reduced beer. The one beer on their menu that was marked explicitly as gluten free was actually gluten reduced according to the manufacturer and clearly states on their website that it may in-fact contain gluten. They had a cider that was not marked at gluten free on the menu but was clearly labeled as gluten free by the manufacturer and the bottle it came in also stated gluten free. Overall a good experience and enjoyable food, but I would have expected more from their alcohol menu for a place that deals exclusively with gluten free food.

We had a delicious dinner here before a show. The service was polite and food came quickly but they also do not rush you. I see that some say this is overpriced-please note that it cost my family less than a dinner at The Counter. Nothing against The Counter but this is a much higher quality of food, service, and atmosphere.

The food here was mediocre at best and very expensive. The meat was all overcooked. Three of us ate there and left not feeling very good. It was $80 for lunch!

My new favorite restaurant. Delicious and completely gluten free. I ate and appetizer, entree, and dessert - I left feeling satisfied but not queasy from too much sugar or oils.

The food is expensive here, but relative to the rest of SF, it's not bad. Food is great & nutritious, and they have Groundbreaker beer. Be advised, they do have a gluten-removed beer marked the same way as Groundbreaker (GF), which I told them wasn't really accurate. They took my comments seriously, but I don't know if they've changed it.

All gluten-free, dairy-free, no refined sugar. Trendy. Fresh. Delicious. Their menu says no gluten. I didn’t think to ask if they bought dedicated quinoa or the oat crumble for dessert. I had salmon and corn.

Great service, great food coming out of an all gluten-free kitchen! I am a diet sensitive celiac with other dietary restrictions, and eating here was fun, easy, and really yummy both times I went here. It's such a treat to be able to go to a sit down restaurant--with my dietary needs this is really the only sit-down restaurant in the Bay area where I can eat and enjoy the food worry-free.

The food was delicious! They have several options for me, (vegan, allergic to gluten, peanuts, & tree nuts). Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about allergens. Both my husband’s and my meals were delicious! I had Hen in Woods Mushrooms w Hierloom Beans in Tomato Broth over Jasmin Rice. Wow! Don’t let the simple name fool you. The flavors were outstanding. Whole restaurant is GF!

Fell upon this place by accident and it certainly lives up to its name. Everything on their menu is made with gluten-free ingredients so you are spoilt for choice. We enjoyed the scrambled eggs with avocado and potato cakes for brunch which was absolutely delicious. We’d definitely return.

Wonderful, flavorful, high quality food. A bit high priced for small portions, but nice for date night. Located in a hip area of San Francisco. Quick professional service. The owner was there and I thanked him for providing a safe place for celiacs to eat and he was very touched. Will definitely visit again when we are in town.
