We were advised that the restaurant's typical practice is to cook the gluten free pancakes on the same grill as the non-gluten free pancakes, so there is a high risk of cross-contamination. I'm not sure if we would have been told if I hadn't told the waiter that my son and I have celiac. The manager said they'd clean the grill before making our pancakes but could not guarantee that it would be completely safe.
