This place is amazing! GF bun for the lobster roll and a dedicated fryer. If I could give it 50 stars I would. Did not get sick. Go here! More than once! Should note they are closed on Tuesday. Thankfully we went on Monday. :)

The restaurant advertises its gluten free menu. They have an extensive menu that’s entirely dedicated to gluten free options. The server, Jack, was very knowledgeable when I mentioned I had celiac disease and let me know the kitchen would change their gloves and use a dedicated gluten free fryer. The food was served with little flags to denote that it was gluten free. The chicken tenders were DELICIOUS and the fries were great too.

This place is a must if you are going out East. They just opened a 2nd location. GF menu. GF bread. My daughter had grilled cheese and chicken fingers. Both were great. Then she has a GF cupcake which they make. Love this place! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I wish I’d taken pics of my food, but I was so excited to actually eat something on vacation- aside from pizza 🍕!! (Though Mystic Pizza? I’d have eaten that EVERY DAY… but I digress!)
Anyhoo, vacations are not usually something that involve me being able to eat very much, as I’m ALLERGIC TO FISH AND SHELLFISH 🦐!! This was something that developed in my early 30’s, so unfortunately for me, I’d known seafood intimately, and we had a wonderful relationship. 😍 Imagine my surprise when I go to a seafood restaurant and blow up like, well, you get it.
Anyway, I was excited for my husband to eat at The Lobster Roll, as we’d been fans of The Affair!! (At least the first 4 seasons, but don’t get me started there…) Anyway, we went after Labor Day in late September! The weather couldn’t have been any more beautiful. We had a 45 minute wait that was actually more like 20 minutes. The server was excellent and super sweet. She came over to get our orders, and I told her “I’ll just have a Diet Coke— I can’t eat at seafood restaurants because of possible cross contamination, as I'm allergic.” It’s something I’m used to saying, and I’ll usually try a dessert if I feel safe, or maybe some crackers. Well… you cannot imagine the excitement I felt when the server told me they had a gluten free fryer!!! So that means that I could eat some chicken tenders as well as ACTUAL FRENCH FRIES!! (Most places fry their fish with EVERYTHING… it’s so depressing. Im lookin’ at you, Cheesecake Factory and every Mexican/Chinese restaurant..ever. 😭😭😭😭 I MISS IT SO MUCH!!) so the designated GF fryer could be used for my fries, and I could eat GF chicken tenders! My husband ordered a LR, of course, and he loved his. For the first time since being diagnosed, I was able to comfortably eat something fried, and it’s couldn’t have been better!!! I asked for ranch, and it was def homemade, which makes life SO MUCH BETTER. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I even loved the GF chicken tenders!! I’m obv chatty, but this review is prolly the longest I’ve ever written…sorry for being long-winded, I just can’t say enough good things!! We wanted to get something like “Cherry’s Pies” when we left, but we settled on an Oreo (cookies & cream?) cupcake, which was huge and delicious 🤤. My husband has a beer, so all in all, I think our bill was $60, so $75 after tip.) That’s expensive where we come from, but if we lived near them, we’d be eating there weekly. Thank you so much Lobster Roll… you’ve officially made this girl the happiest I’ve been at a restaurant on vacay (and even home!) in 8ish years. I love you forever. ♥♥♥
If you’re planning on taking a trip, make SURE you go to TLR. They are the BEST.

Ordered the lobster roll on a GF roll and fries, which were made in a dedicated fryer. A second food server brought the GF meal out to prevent cc with the non GF food that was ordered by others at our table. Everything was perfect. Celiac food safety was taken very seriously.

Their gluten free menu is pretty extensive actually. I felt quite safe there as when I said gluten free she asked if I had an allergy. I just got chicken tenders and fries as that’s such a hard meal to come by gluten free and it was pretty good. They have a separate fryer for gluten free meals.

I have never been to a place that was so openly knowledgeable about Celiac. As soon as the waiter saw I had a gluten free menu, she asked if I had Celiac, and explained how things were prepared and informed me of the dedicated gluten free frier. I’ve never had chicken tenders at a restaurant before, but this place gave me the opportunity. Wonderful experience, highly recommend.

Excellent!!! I had the nachos and cold lobster roll. Everything was so good!

Their menu requests that you tell them if you have celiac disease 👍🏼 Separate fryer ✔ Lobster roll was delicious! We sat in the Season 1 Episode 1 booth from "the Affair". Tito's + Lemonade was delicious. Definitely go here if you're a seafood fan!

Good food. Very extensive gf menu with gf buns for sandwiches and lots of seafood choices. The person who seated us said he was gf and was the one who started their gf menu. Always good to hear the restaurant owners/staff has a personal link to gf.
