Tried going to Local Burger Co. in Patchogue, NY. They were recently bought out and the new business didn’t seem to be familiar with the gluten free diet. We ended up at Buttermilk just next door and had a great experience.

always so knowledgeable on celiac and you can’t tell which food is gluten free bc it’s all so delicious! the truffle parm fries are my fav & make sure to get the garlic aioli !!!

Amazing gluten free burger bun! Didn’t fall apart at all had to check with my non gf niece to see if the buns were different. They were! My gf daughter and I had no reactions at all. Also had gf fries!

While they do have a gluten free menu, our waitress was still very knowledgeable about the menu.

My dish was flagged as *GLUTEN ALLERGY* and was brought out separately from the rest of our food.

The burger and fries were very good (and gluten free). They use a dedicated fryer for their fries.

Best GF bun ever! So so good.

My daughter and I both need GF. She got a burger on GF bun, I got the grilled chicken bacon ranch sandwich on GF bun. We both got fries and I also ordered the bacon Brussels as a side. They have a dedicated GF frier.fries. Everything was delicious and we had no cross contamination. I'm very sensitive and I'm writing this 2 days after eating there. I'd highly recommend.

SO GOOD!! Probably the best gf bun I’ve had. Dedicated fryer for gluten free. Staff was so familiar with celiac and all allergies.

Local Burger is my fav in Patchogue. They are knowledgeable and have a separate fryer for gluten free items. I always get a burger and fries there (even a milkshake they will label as gluten allergy), have never once gotten sick from it!
