Review of Local Foods

This is a grocery store with a cute cafe inside. Very “local” and trendy and good with GF options in the store part. I had an omelet and broccolini as a side. They didn’t totally know what Celiac was but they said they can accommodate allergies so they swapped toast for grilled broccolini. The broccolini was grilled on the same surface as the toast—which I told them was not ok! Walking out of the place I could barely stand up and got really sick when I got home. They don’t know what celiac is and didn’t keep me safe. This was over the summer so I hope they have changed practices since then but I won’t go back for food only for groceries.
