Gluten free: shrimp, Mexican street corn, and some shrimp meal. Literally only items on two pages of menu marked with gluten free symbol. Asked waitress what else is gluten free. She replied,”well what is gluten - just flour right? or you just tell me what you can’t have”. I explained that’s not possible and I need her to ask someone else. Ordered chicken inside corn tortilla with some lettuce tomato and little bit of cheese. Thankfully only $3 taco night. Terrible. Will not go back. Nothing to choose from, staff doesn’t care to help, and if it wasn’t $3 taco night I would have spent $15 for a meal that tastes bad. Nope. Way too many places to go in Knox with good food choices
Food tasted AWESOME! Unfortunately staff didn't know, or didn't acknowledge when I specifically asked, which items are gluten free. I learned the hard way that mesquite flavor in salsa & on food is filled with gluten. I was miserable afterwards. But salsa & food tasted great.
I love coming here. Of course Mexican food is usually a safe spot for celiac as many of the products are corn based, but this restaurant is flavorful and fun.
