Review of Loco Lizard Cantina

Not celiac kid friendly. We went to this place because I read it was all gluten free except the flour tortillas and the mole. That might be a good thing for adult celiacs. The kid menu (which is on the table as a coloring page when you arrive) is gluten heavy...cheeseburger, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, French fries not cooked in the GF fryer etc. My 6 year old was disappointed she could not eat any of her favorites. She had a cheeseburger with no bun. It was literally a 20c frozen patty with a thin layer of cheese on top. She did not get sick, which is the most important thing of course but I would not recommend this restaurant for a celiac child. The adult food and margaritas were also disappointing (we are from San Diego so may be spoiled on Mexican food).
