I always drop by Locust Cider when in Ft. Collins. I love that it’s 100% GF with a nice food selection and large variety of delicious ciders. Had a pint with my meal and then took several to go. Kris the bartender/server was great! I was able to try several before commiting to one (mixed two ciders together). Hope my ciders survive the flight back east!
Dedicated hard cider location that offers a completely gluten free menu. Variety of hard ciders available on tap and to-go with growlers and cans. Blackberry cider was not overly sweet. Food menu has about a dozen items including chicken tenders, tacos and hamburgers. Hamburger had a very good flavor and gluten-free bun that did not fall apart. Meal also came with a mountain of fries.
Checked out Locust today, I felt very comfortable ordering food, wasn't in the mood to drink (100 degrees...ugh) so can't comment on the drinks, but the root beer was tasty. We ordered wings tacos and loaded fries. All were tasty! Will definitely return on a cooler day to try the cider!! Very celiac friendly!!
LOVED this place! Entire menu is gluten free and celiac safe—my dream! I wanted to get the gluten free chicken tenders but sadly they use buttermilk to fry them and I am dairy free so I couldn’t get those. BUT they had plenty of other dairy free options! Entire facility is GF. The ciders are INCREDIBLE! Would be here literally every week if I lived in the area. Cannot recommend enough!
I recommend this place to anyone who comes to Fort Collins! Their food is amazing and they have so many cider options to try! I am visiting family and I’ve been here twice this week. I had their chicken tenders and fries the first day with a pint of their blackberry cider and it was amazing. Their potion sizes for food is great, I had to get a to go box and had it later that day. The send time I had their chicken bacon ranch tacos and they were great. My mom and I tried a flight with the vanilla bean, blackberry, blueberry, and peach ciders and they were all great! I love this place!
Wow!! Just wow!!!!
Go! Run! Stop whatever you’re doing.
I went here for lunch and I got the Peach Cider, chicken tenders, fries & quite a few of the dips! I’m not usually a chicken tenders gal, but I had read it was tasty & it did not disappoint! It was all delicious & I even brought some food home!
That night we went back & I got a flight of 6 different ciders!! The pineapple coconut & the berry blues were two of my favorites!!
I got the shrimp (a little over priced for 3 shrimp, but still delicious) & my family split one of the big fries plates! All great!!
It was so nice to be able to share food with family & not have to worry about cross contamination! Even the non-gf people loved it & plan to go back!
10/10 would recommend!
This place is the best! Huge cider variety, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and dedicated gluten free. I had the green chili burger- the green chili is made from scratch and award winning- so good. My kids loved the chicken fingers (me too!) and next time I’m planning on the breaded chicken sandwich, which is such a rare find for us celiacs.
100% gf, so the only thing left to talk about is how great the food is! I've only been twice and had the chicken tenders and the coconut shrimp. Battered food is a treat for a celiac and these were both perfectly crunchy but tender. The Juicy Peach BBQ dippping sauce for the chicken was yummy. Can't wait to go back!
100% gluten free and the food is delicious. My favorites are the Cider Burger and the Colorado Chicken Loaded Fries. The Green Chili is also fabulous. We usually order a flight of different ciders to try. Outdoor seating is excellent for people watching in the middle of Old Town. Highly recommend
The entire food and cider menu is celiac friendly. We had the corn ribs, fish tacos, and the Thai loaded fries. Everything was delicious, but the fish tacos and fries were a little salty for our taste. Still awesome and the cider was quite good too.
My wife, who is gluten free, thought it was incredible how she didn’t even need to think about what she was ordering. It was the first time in years she’s been able to just pick what sounded good without any worry. The fries are some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place and we will be back for sure!
What a find! Amazing selection of ciders and the food is entirely GF. We had the burger and some loaded fries and they were excellent. Friendly service. They shared that the only gluten in the entire establishment is some beer that they offer in cans only (not run through any of the lines). Would definitely go back!
Can confirm they recently went 100% gluten free, I spoke to the owner and the chef yesterday. She said they have a few canned beers w gluten, but not a single gluten containing ingredient in the place. All ciders GF, all food GF. I also can't have dairy, and they were accommodating to me on my food.
Ciders were pretty good, I'd give a 4 of 5. They have 16 flavors so you can do flights and try what you want, pretty cool. Good vibe good people. They have vintage video games systems like Sega Genesis and Nintendo NES on two TVs at two tables, that's pretty cool. And some outdoor seating as well. Pretty awesome spot for us GF people.
Newly dedicated gluten free! This place has great food and a huge selection of gluten free ciders! The chef is thrilled to cater to celiacs and actually came out to our table personally to gush about how much he cares and wants to make safe delicious food! Highly recommend!
“Things on fries” is my favorite food. Lots of yummy loaded fries options with a dedicated fryer. Loved the green chili fries. Only one thing on the menu isn’t GF- flatbread. Cider tasting flights and tacos. Modern tap house atmosphere.
