The lodge did a really nice job! They had gluten free bread for their burgers and seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination. (Asked if it was an allergy and offered to prepare the bun separately). I also had a great breakfast bowl here the following morning. Lake Chelan is beautiful, don’t let celiac stop you from visiting!!

I am celiac, hiked through Stehekin in July with low expectations. The Lodge restaurant is slammed during their limited hours but staff were extremely accommodating when approached after the rush. No dedicated prep area, but staff was knowledgeable. Grilled my burger with a clean fry pan and utensils.
After dinner, the night cook sought me out on the porch to run me through the breakfast options. The morning cook started cooking ahead of opening for me! She created something off menu for me like an egg hash on a GF bun. I didn't get sick. Never had so much care taken by a restaurant.
Note***
Hours vary by month. In mid-July they were open for a couple hours each meal. The line was out the door every meal even a month before the hiker bubble. Not sure if this extraordinary service is possible during peak weeks. Good luck
