I live in San Juan and have celiac disease. The last two times I have eaten there I have gotten very sick. I won’t be returning. It is a waste of time asking them to be careful about gluten because they just nod but do not take any precautions.
Do not eat the pizza here. It is not safe.
Last year I visited San Juan and ate here three times because we loved their coconut crust. Absolutely incredible taste. I went yesterday and talked with the server about gluten and contamination - he even asked the chef some questions before putting in my order.
One of the worst gluten experiences I’ve had. I was extremely sick all night long.
This is a hole in the wall place that is a little tricky to find, but so worth it!! They have coconut crust and pumpkin crust pizza available which are both gluten free. They confirmed that the GF pizzas are prepped in a separate part of the kitchen than the gluten containing ones. I believe they are all cooked in the same oven, but I did not get sick after. I had the chicken pizza on coconut crust and added sweet plantains, and it was phenomenal.

Best gf pizza I’ve ever had. I asked the waiter and he said that there is no contamination in the process of making the coconut or the pumpkin crust. Looking in the back it seemed like the might use the same oven and stick but I didn’t feel sick after, so he turned out to be right. 100% would recommend.
Small pizza place. Staff new of gluten. Pizzas can be made with pumpkin crust. They were really delicious! And I didn’t get sick. Would recommend.
The pizzas are all available on a coconut flour crust and are fantastic!
