Wow I’m surprised that this place doesnt have recent reviews! We seated outside and the place was peaceful. They brought bread to the table ( insanely delicious!) but its not gf so my husband couldnt eat it.We ordered the beet salad and the humus to start and they served with carrots and celery instead of pita. We asked for the shakshouka to be gf and it was delicious! Above all the service was fantastic! I cant remember the name of our server but they kept checking on us. My husband didnt have any reactions, it seems they were careful with cross contamination.

I had a wonderful experience at Lokanta! The menu states gluten free for appetizers, soups, salads, sides. The main dishes can be accommodated and they definitely know what they are doing. I had a wonderful meal of filet of sole with a piccata sauce, mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (that was NOT the usual carrots, broccoli and cauliflower). It was delightful and I was satisfied. There aren’t many meals for those who have celiac can claim that statement. Many times our meal is lackluster and we are left hungry afterward.

Ordered the mixed grill with lamb, chicken, and pilaf (jasmine rice). I informed the server about my gluten allergy (celiac) and he made sure to double check everything with the cook. Food was amazing and I would definitely go back!

Although they do not have a gluten free menu, they can alter their dishes to be gluten free. The waiter understood my needs & I had a wonderful paella.
