They were very knowledgeable about celiac and dairy intolerance. Unfortunately they have a shared fryer but the soy boba tea and Gf foods I enjoyed on the menu were amazing. They even have coconut cream for their Thai style icee! This is a wonderful place.

Lola’s is a great restaurant for gluten free as 80% of the menu is gluten-free. I ordered their new fritters which are fried with gluten free flour. The staff ensured me that the food does not come in contact with the flour tacos. I also ordered the beef & lamb dish with rice noodles. Delicious food and reasonably priced as the entire menu is $8.50 whether you order a specialty or build your own bowl. They have multiple awards for best rate in the Des Moines metro - I would agree with the award!!

Great place. Everything is gluten free besides a couple items. They only mark items that aren’t gluten free. Everything else gluten free!

Much of the menu is gluten free, but the servings are more like a snack. Just don’t go super hungry!

Update: we have eaten here more and the serving sizes are good for lunch. My husband would want more for dinner.

This place is absolutely amazing! I ordered the crispy chicken bowl. Yum!! Majority of the menu is gluten free unless otherwise marked.

Staff was great and over 90% of menu was gluten free. Outstanding food.

Excellent food, great experience! Menu is GF unless otherwise marked (not the other way around) - so nice!

Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free, in addition to food allergies. The cook even came out to discuss our options. Perfect portions, even when we are hungry. Have never had a reaction, and my husband and I are very sensitive. They even use locally sourced tableware.

This is the first time in 3 years that I’ve had fried chicken. They have a dedicated fryer for their fried chicken and tofu, which is breaded with gluten free flour. Amazing!! The soy sauce they use is gluten free. They changed gloves, were very careful, and very knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t gluten free. Lots of options! Will definitely visit again.
