If you have celiac the menu is extremely limited. No dedicated fryer and was told even their rice isn’t gluten free because it’s cross contaminated. Like how?? Very disappointed. Knowledgeable server at least. Ended up getting chips and salsa, but the kitchen had to give me hot corn tortillas because the chips are shared in the frier. Tried the pork tacos and my husband got a burrito (he isn’t gf) and we both got sick the next day. Not sure if it was food poisoning or if the spice mixed they used on the meat disagreed with us. Will not be going back, there are better gf taco places in Chicago.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere and staff are helpful in pointing out what is/is not GF. However, it is *very* limited if you have celiac. There's no designated fryer so the options were few and far between. I ordered a salad which was good! But definitely felt limited by the menu and lack of options.

I called and spoke to the manager prior to going and she kindly emailed me all my gf options. The server was just as knowledgeable and accommodating- I felt very safe and enjoyed my meal so much. Great customer service - would highly recommend.

Waiter was knowledgeable about which items could be made gluten free. Most of the tacos were already GF or able to be made GF. The food was excellent, especially the horchata.

The entire staff checked in three different times (very kindly, never once made me feel uncomfortable) about my allergy - were educated and very considerate even though they were very busy that friday night. They warned of cross-contamination (i’m not diagnosed celiac but have an allergy) but i did not react whatsoever. Very impressed with this establishment!
