I’ve eaten here several times in the past few years without problems, but tonight the streak ended. I ordered the Shanghai Power Bowl, which is listed on the menu as gluten free. The server assured me kitchen staff were aware of cross-contamination. Ever cautious, I tested the food with a Nima Sensor when it was served, and it detected the presence of gluten. So, maybe sometimes they get it right, and others they don’t, and I hit them on an off night.
I usually am not sensitive and I don't worry about cross-contamination or anything like that, since it takes a lot of gluten to give me a reaction. So I was very surprised when I got so sick after eating a Chorizo taco (marked "GF") here. Eat with caution.

They are celiac conscious. The food is good and they have many options available. I will go again when in town.
They have awesome salads and offer great gluten free bakery options!
Tentatively 5 stars. The man who took my order seemed to take my celiac's very seriously and went to tell the kitchen staff to avoid CC. Will update if I get sick.
Yes
The food is technically gluten free but they are not careful about how they prepare it so cross contamination is inevitable. If you are sensitive I wouldn't recommend eating there.

All natural/organic menu with tons of gluten-free options! The restaurant is entirely vegetarian and uses mainly locally grown ingredients. The staff is super friendly and will do their best to make any dish gluten free. It's a Carbondale favorite!
