Review of Longfellow's Wayside Inn Restaurant

Over the years this restaurant has been enjoyable one time and disappointing the next. The actual choices for celiacs is very limited and can vary depending on the cook. Example: duck with orange sauce is delicious if you get the chef that is willing to take a moment and make some gluten free. Duck without orange sauce is nasty, all depends on the chef. Now the servers are even worse. They have always placed the rolls on the table stating these are not gluten free. Well the last server stated the corn muffin was safe for celiacs. It was not and that attack last for a full 5 hours. I myself refuse to risk being exposed to a limited, maybe decent meal, potentially resulting in a life threatening attack.
