Recently ordered to go and was impressed with the discussion over the phone. The staff knew what we needed to be gluten free and flagged everything and confirmed.
Went back again for a birthday and the server was attentive and knew what we needed. He explained they change gloves, wipe down surfaces and didn’t bring bread. All items marked gluten free to be safe. Food was great.
They had an allergy menu with a specific page that listed gluten free options and how to order them. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken without the breadcrumbs with mashed potatoes and broccoli as sides. My waiter was very respectful of my allergy and let me know my food was prepared separately.
We have not eaten out much since my celiac diagnosis especially after bad experiences eating out but gave Longhorn a try They had a GF menu and our waiter Steve was amazing and very accommodating. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken made without the breadcrumbs and a baked potato. There were many salad, steak and pork chop options. I had no reactions and would eat here again.
I got sick here. Asked for a burger without the bun. It came on a bun. It was sent back. I Was told that a new burger was made for me. Since I got sick with in an hour I have a feeling they took my burger off-that bun and brought it to me. The staff is not knowledgeable about gluten the staff also doesn’t understand the word lactose intolerant. Not a good idea for celiac
