Review of Los Cuates

This restaurant is unsafe for Celiacs. Based on the earlier reviews I spoke with the host who not only showed me the allergen notebook but went into the kitchen to double check before seating us. I reiterated GF/Celiac with the waitress and ordered the taco salad without the wheat tortilla bowl. It arrived and I ate 75% of it only to discover pieces of wheat taco shell under all of the lettuce. I spoke with the kitchen manager and then the restaurant manager - both of whom said the waitress neglected to add “allergen” when she inputed the order which means it was made in a taco bowl and subsequently dumped on the plate. So then I spoke with the waitress! I also told the manager they need to post that although they offer GF options, they can not manage Celiac requirements.
