This is a really great Mexican restaurant for Celiacs and anyone gluten free. Their new address is actually 2505 Battleground Ave, just so you know. You can get almost everything on the menu prepared gluten free and the owner and waiters tolerate the million questions I asked which you might ask too. Food is great and it's a nice setting. If I lived here I would definitely come again

Great staff! They were so knowledgable, kind, and could give me all the information I needed to know that I could eat here safely. Celiac friendly! This is a place you will want to try! The high point location is closed, but the location in Greensboro is still open.

So, first off, my husband and I always place a pick-up order and the pick up service is not great. The person at the register all 3 times we have tried this place has been scatter brained. Next thing, this is expensive! My husband got the GF grilled chicken and cheese quesadilla with no sides and it was $10. I say this is steep because the quesadilla was not good. He and I both tried it and it just wasn't good. A previous time I got the non GF quesadilla and that wasn't great either. When we both ate it was over $40! Just to much money for something neither of us liked. On the good side, my husband did not seem to have any negative reaction to the food afterwards unless he ate the beans, but I believe that is another of his food allergies.

They are extremely helpful at telling you what is GF on the menu or what can be made GF. Food is amazing. And they don't have the traditional chips with salsa. The dips they have are way better, they still come with chips. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food!!

Absolutely the best Mexican food ever!! All homemade, fresh spices and ingredients. most items on the menu can be made gluten free. Largest selection I've seen. They are hidden off the main road, but worth it. We will be back. The chef is awesome.

Had such a wonderful experience here! Thanks to the previous poster's review, I decided to give this place a shot and I'm so glad I did. They were very aware of cross contamination and what is safe for gf. The food was delicious and I didn't get sick! Will definitely be going back.

My husband and I along with some friends frequent Los Gordos at least once a week. My husband And I discovered Los gordos in January of this year. Since then Los Gordos has become one of my favorite places to eat! Every time I have visited Los Gordos I have tried something new. I am celiac and am very sensitive to even the smallest amounts of gluten! I have never gotten sick from eating here! They do not have a gluten free menu but they can make almost anything on the menu gluten free. I have tried 2 different desserts so far and they were both phenomenal (Flan and Sweet plantains). On top of amazing fresh food the staff is amazing which is an all around plus! I can not express enough how nice it is to go out to eat and actually enjoy everything about the experience! It's nice not having to worry about whether I will get sick or not!
