Such a wonderful restaurant- the owner was so friendly and helpful. She pointed out all of the items on the list that I could have (which was about 80% of the menu) the other food items could be adapted - a wrap in a bowl - plantains for hamburger bread etc. I loved my time there.

Je recommande à 100% ! À ne pas manquer si vous passez par Uvita ! Il n’y a en effet pas de menu sans gluten spécifique mais l’ensemble des plats, à l’exception des wraps, peut être fait sans gluten. Il n’y a pas de tortilla, les plats sont principalement basés sur des galettes de bananes plantain, je n’aime habituellement pas les bananes plantain mais là j’ai adoré ! J’ai pris le cheese burger bacon avec le pain remplacé par les fameuses galettes, en sachant qu’il y a des oignons fris dedans, donc j’ai eu peur, mais la gérante m’a expliqué qu’elle faisait l’ensemble des fritures avec une chapelures sans gluten et connaissait parfaitement le sujet, je me suis sentie vraiment en sécurité pour manger et c’est super agréable ! J’ai également goûté les tacos au bœuf ! Tout était trop trop bon ! En vrai, c’est l’un des meilleurs restaurants depuis mes 2 mois de voyage en Amérique centrale. Allez-y les yeux fermés !!

Honestly the best place I ate at during my entire holiday. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and there were so many options. Everything was gluten free except for the wraps, pastas and burger buns. I had a burger but with fried plantain instead of the bun, I’m not even a big fan of plantain but it was absolutely incredible, probably the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The rest of my family enjoyed it just as much as I did, honestly can’t recommend this place enough.

Although there is no gluten free menu, the owner was very knowledgeable about gluten and pointed out all of the items on the menu that did not have gluten. She also confirmed that they use a separate fryer for items that contain gluten. She made me feel safe, and the meal and drinks were top notch. We will go back.
