My answer is yes, but only somewhat gluten friendly. Use great caution here if you have celiac. I was one of four diners and the only GF eater. Asked for a GF menu and I got a photocopied piece of paper (it was posted on this site) that was their list of how to eat GF at this place. Fine. It's a bit cumbersome to keep comparing the regular menu with the modification tip sheet, but okay. Then I noticed that they said the chips and salsa at the table were fine to eat. The tip sheet made a point of it. Something told me to ask anyway. I got three different and contradictory answers. First person said the corn tortillas were fried with wheat items. Server said that wasn't true, that they were not made on site and came in a bag and were fine. Then some sort of supervisor told me that they were in fact made there and fried with other stuff, including wheat foods. He said they do have other chips for sale but that they carried no label and he could not say how they were prepared. I pointed out the wording on the GF "menu" and said, trying to be helpful, that someone could get sick from cross contamination if they ate the chips based on the recommendation on the GF menu. He said he knew and had already informed the owners of this issue. I did not feel good about ordering anything after that but got beef fajitas anyway. I remarked that I felt I was putting my health at risk. Server suggested I could get a vegetarian version of the meal instead. Clearly a lot of education needed here, starting with the owners. That said, the food was delicious, reasonably priced and I did not get sick. I did not eat the chips.
