Very underwhelmed. I said I needed gluten free and they said everything labeled vegan was also gluten free. They recommended the spaghetti and a milkshake with real Oreo cookie in it. When I asked about cheese fries, they said they were out of vegan cheese. Clearly they had no idea what gluten is but spoke as though they did.
No
I was very underwhelmed by Lost City. They advertise themselves as vegan-friendly, and there are several menu items that are vegan or can be made vegan. The menu contains no information about wheat or gluten, and when I asked my waiter if there were any items that could be made both gluten-free and vegan he responded, "That's really a tough one. We have items that are vegan, but once you go gluten-free and vegan, that's really limiting." Thanks for pointing that out, dude. Two stars because he was willing to ask about specific menu items for me, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking to eat both gluten-free and vegan.
Came to Lost City for their vegan, non-dairy milkshakes. The ice cream is locally made in small batches and is soy-based. They use a separate stirrer to prevent cross contamination.
