Love Love Teriyaki in Keizer advertises that it offers gf food in large letters on its window. Don’t trust it. My wife and I had the chicken teriyaki with salad, made sure to reconfirm that it would be gluten-free, and both took a bit of the clearly marked gluten-free soy sauce that was on the table. Two hours later, we were both in agony. Both of us spent two hours extremely and painfully bloated, trying to get relief with hot pads on the belly, hot peppermint tea, and finally hot baths before the reaction started to calm down. I finally feel better this morning. For me at least, these are typical signs of having been exposed to cross-contamination with gluten. We used to love the former Love Love Teriyaki franchise on Broadway that shut down during the pandemic and were excited to try Teriyaki again after this restaurant was recommended to me by the mother of a celiac child. I’m sorry, but we won’t be back.

Went in because of the glowing reviews. Told them we were GF and they said almost everything if GF. Ordered the days special and confirmed multiple times it would be GF. Got home with our meals and it had fried egg rolls inside the container. Called and asked if they were GF, they said no and it was our fault for ordering a meal that came with them (we had no idea) and told us just to pick them out and eat the meal. We explained that didn’t work for us, so we were told they’d remake it without the egg rolls and to bring back the meals to exchange them. Awful experience. We told them we were GF and asked for help navigating what was safe and then we’re served food we couldn’t eat. They clearly don’t understand cross contamination either.

We are sitting here eating as I write this review. The food is really good. My son and I are not Gluten Intolerant but my wife is. The staff is very knowledgeable ablout Gluten Intolerances. I’m not sure if they separate the food prep area’s. They have their own soy sauce that is Gluten free. They can make switches to an order to make it Gluten free. They even offer one noodle that’s gluten free. Looks like vermicelli. If you order anything not fried or with wheat, it’s probably gluten free. Always check with the staff. They are very friendly. The place looks nice and clean.

Surprisingly delicious! I worried a bit when I saw the order-at-the counter (a la fast food), but the food was well-made and not just deep-fried sugar. Though their menu doesn't say so, most of their menu is GF. According to them, anything deep-fried, noodles, and imitation crab *has* gluten; anything else does not. We went to the Keizer location. I got the spicy pork bowl, and the (also GF) husband had the signature teriyaki chicken bowl. Both were tasty and well-balanced. I even had enough leftovers for the next day's lunch. Would eat here again!
