Was first told the milk tea was gluten free then was told that it wasn’t because it has sugar. I explained that sugar is gf and asked about the syrups. They glanced at the syrup I ordered and said “it’s fine. It says nothing about gluten in the ingredients”. They are probably sweet people but they have no idea what gluten is and do not understand the importance of allergies. I gave my drink to my non-celiac husband and will avoid in the future.
