Review of Lucille's Kitchen

I really wish I could have given this place a good review. They have tons of gluten free options including all of their fried food which is amazing but my experience was awful. I ordered chicken tacos and specified many times that I had a gluten allergy (celiac). They were very reassuring about how many GF options they have and how seriously they take it so I was very excited about my meal. My tacos came out on a flour tortilla and I immediately said something. The waiter proceeded to tell me “those are the gluten free flour tortillas! Don’t worry, they are gluten free I promise!” So I took a couple of bites and my heart sank as the manager comes running over and informs me that no, those are regular flour tortillas, definitely not GF. I am on vacation with family and had to deal with everyone feeling sorry for me, asking details about how I will react, when, for how long, etc. and the lunch and entire day being ruined. They brought me new tacos but put it on the same plate and then argued with my husband about it. I am now incredibly sick and it was a very dramatic scene especially because I am pregnant and already having trouble with my stomach. If they had just done the right tortilla and had knowledgeable wait staff, this would be a 5 star review.
